Cherry Creek Varsity Fall Prep U18
 
The Cherry Creek Varsity Fall Prep U18 Team is a registered CAHA and USA Hockey sanctioned U18 AA independent Team that will participate in the Colorado Prep Hockey League from approximately September 1st through mid November of each year. The Varsity Prep Team will be part of the Cherry Creek Hockey Association. The Varsity Prep team will continue as a Club team after the CPHL season ends with several Tournament options to be decided upon. 
 
The Cherry Creek Varsity Fall Prep Team will be open to players at the 9th -12th grade Midget and Bantam levels who are planning on trying out for the Cherry Creek High Scool CHSAA Varsity Hockey team. The Team can also carry a limited number of players from outside the District. The Cherry Creek Varsity Prep Team is not affiliated with the Cherry Creek CHSAA Varsity team. Players who make this team will not be guaranteed a position on the CHSAA team but will have the advantage of learning skills, tactics and strategies the CHSAA team will employ.
 
The Cherry Creek Varsity Prep Team will compete in the USA Hockey sanctioned Colorado Prep Hockey League. The CPHL will be comprised of approximately 15 Teams that are in similar to the CC Prep Team. The CPHL League Champion will receive a bid to represent Colorado in the USA Hockey High School National Tournament. The Varsity Prep Team will also compete in local tournaments with several options that include travel during holidays to out of state tournaments. The Prep Team is currently confirmed in the Labor Day Boston Tournament. The Prep Team will also travel to Chicago in late October for a combination High Intensity, Battle and Defense Camp. In addition the Prep Team will play 3 games against some of the top Illinois High School Prep Teams.    We will submit for entry into the Littleton Major AA Thanksgiving Tournament and will consider the Richmond International Tournament in Vancouver over Christmas. We will consider additional opportunities as well. Schedule information will be updated on the calendar link.
 
The cost of the Fall Season will be $1700.00 per player.  The fee will include Practice ice, POMR off-ice training, uniforms, coach’s stipend and two tournament fees. Additional tournaments in-state or out including National Tournaments, associated practices, personal travel and coaching expenses are not included.
 
Players will need to pre-register on-line. The $100.00 Tryout fee should be paid utilizing the Cherry Creek Tryout Varsity Prep U18/MMA JV U18 Pay Now Tab. If unable to pay by credit card, please download and send in the registration form. Player must be registered with USA Hockey before completing tryout information.
